Located in the northeastern corner of New Territories, Luk Keng is the largest freshwater marsh in Hong Kong. Backed by slopes that descend from Pat Sin Leng, Luk Keng provides diverse wetland habitats, including marshes, streams, reedbeds, fishponds and pools for dragonflies to fly over and perch in. It is one of a few sites in Hong Kong at which a very high diversity of dragonflies has been recorded. |
